I've decided that the receiver I've previously created will not be used, I don't think it would work well as it resembles more of a lamp rather than a notification display. So I decided to redesign it, I want to use the same materials as the sender device to create cohesion between the pair. I plan to use fabric, birch and acrylic to create the display.
So I've sketched up some forms I could create and started playing with CAD to see how these would look.
For the next few days, I will continue to experiment using CAD before I make the model from the physical materials as I only have limited materials left.
